Manhattan Beach, CA (April 11, 2017) – In partnership with the City, Waste Management will once again be hosting Document Shredding for Manhattan Beach community members on Saturday, April 22, 2017 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. This event promotes the safe disposal of records and recycling those records. Please note that the location has changed from previous years and will now be held at the Mira Costa High School Parking Lot (1401 Artesia Blvd, MB 90266) in order to accommodate more participants. All shredded paper will still be recycled, and the City’s Annual Earth Day Concert and Celebration will also be on this day at Polliwog Park from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
FREE On-Site Shredding
On-site shredding services are provided FREE to all MB residents and businesses for the first three boxes and $5.00 for each additional box (10x12x15). Documents will be shredded on-site on a first come, first served basis. Once the on-site shredding truck is full, it will leave the event. A secondary truck will be available until 2:00 PM to collect documents for secure off-site shredding.
FREE Off-Site Shredding
A second truck will be available from 9:00AM - 2:00PM to collect documents for secure off-site shredding. The first three boxes are free, and $5.00 for each additional box (10x12x15).
