City Hall is located at 1400 Highland Avenue in Manhattan Beach, CA 90266. Extended service hours for residents in the community, as well as vendors or business-owners are Monday through Thursday 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, alternate open Fridays 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and can also be reach via phone (310) 802-5000. We are closed on all major holidays. Public parking is available adjacent to City Hall via 15th Street parking lot entrance.

After School REC, REC Vacation Days, REC Summer Camp

After School REC
The After School REC program is a user pay program that is open to children 5 ½ to 12. Children will have access to the serenity and inspiration of nature and outdoor space to play and exercise. The program provides self-directed and organized recreation activities that are designed to positively impact the lives of the children. The program offers activities that facilitate social connections, human development, the arts, and lifelong learning.

After School REC Extended Care
In addition to the program at the park, After School REC has an Extended Care Program for parents of children attending Pacific, Pennekamp, Grand View and Meadows Elementary schools.  On days the program is in operation, fully trained recreation leaders will pick up children at each of these Elementary Schools and walk them to Live Oak Park and Manhattan Heights Park, respectively, in order to participate in the After School REC program. Leaders will depart each day 10 minutes after last dismissal bell of the day. There are no pick-ups during parent conference week.

REC Camp
REC Camps are user pay programs that are open to children ages 5 ½ to 12. Children will have access to the serenity and inspiration of nature and outdoor space to play and exercise. The program provides self-directed and organized recreation activities that are designed to positively impact the lives of the children. The program offers activities that facilitate social connections, human development, the arts, and lifelong learning. Children are encouraged to participate in all scheduled activities; however, if they choose not to, alternate activities are available. All programs are supervised by trained CPR certified recreation leaders.

The REC Vacation Days program is active during the Manhattan Beach Unified School District vacations and when the After School REC program is not in session. There is a limit of 80 children maximum per week. Registration confirmation is required at the first day of the program.

REC Summer Camp
REC Summer Camp is a user pay program for children ages 5½ to 12. This recreation program incorporates education and fun. We strive to provide these services in a fun, safe and wholesome environment that allows our young people to grow as individuals while interacting as a group. Children are encouraged to participate in all scheduled activities; however, if they choose not to, alternate activities are available. All programs are supervised by trained CPR certified recreation leaders.

The REC Summer Camp is an eight-week program held June through August. This program is concurrent with the Manhattan Beach Unified School District vacation schedule. Participants may register week by week or for the entire summer at a discounted rate. There is a limit of 80 children maximum per week.
