Station 1 was officially open July 1, 2006. This approximately 16,000 square foot station will house Engine 21 and Rescue 21 and serve the Residents of Manhattan Beach for many years to come.
Station 1 first in area of Responsibility is from the Pacific Ocean east to Sepulveda Blvd. and north and south to the cities boundaries. This station responds to mutual aid calls to western side of Hermosa Beach.
Station 2 was officially opened December 12, 1954. At approximately 3,000 square feet, this station houses E22. This station's first in responsibilities are Sepulveda Blvd. to Aviation Blvd to the east and from Artesia to Rosecrans. This station also responds to Mutual aid calls in the surrounding cities and strike teams to areas of southern California during brush fire seasons
