Trash and Recycling Holiday Schedule

The following holidays are observed by Waste Management (WM). 

• Memorial Day   
• Independence Day  
• Labor Day
• Thanksgiving Day
• Christmas Day
• New Year's Day     

Changes will be made to the collection schedule if a WM-observed holiday falls on a weekday (Monday - Friday).  If your regular collection day falls on or after one of the weekday holidays, your refuse and recyclables will be picked up the following day. 

If the WM-observed holiday falls on a Saturday or Sunday, no changes will be made to the residential collection schedule.

For example: If Memorial Day is on a Monday, and your regular collection day is Monday, then your service day will be postponed to Tuesday.  If your regular collection day is Tuesday, your holiday collection day will be Wednesday.  If your regular collection day is Wednesday, your holiday collection day will be Thursday.  If your regular collection day is Thursday, your holiday collection day will be Friday.  If your regular collection day is Friday, your holiday collection day will be Saturday.
