The nine-member committee works in conjunction with the Parks and Recreation Department’s Older Adults Program to make recommendations regarding the delivery of senior programs, activities and policies. For more information, feel free to contact the Older Adults Program at (310) 802-5447.

The City of Manhattan Beach will accept applications until April 16, 2010 from residents interested in serving on the Senior Advisory Committee.  Applications (PDF) are available online or at the OASIS and the Older Adults Program, both at Joslyn Community Center, 1601 Valley Drive.

Applications must be returned by 5:00 PM, April 16, 2010.  Drop off completed applications to City Hall (Parks and  Recreation Department), 1400 Highland Avenue or email them to Eve Kelso or fax them to (310) 802-5401, attention Recreation Services Manager Eve Kelso.
