
Within the City of Manhattan Beach, there are a variety of public facilities available for public, private and commercial events. Except for City sponsored events, a fee is required to reserve and/or use City facilities. See each location for a description of the types of facilities, the number of people and types of events they will accommodate and the equipment available for use at each site.
Reservations are made in person, by fax (310) 802-5401 and mail to the Parks and Recreation Department, 1400 Highland Avenue, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. All fees must be paid at the time of reservation. Reservations must be made at least five working days prior to the event date. Proof of residency is required (i.e. current utility bill with name and address). For more information, contact Ada Wallace, Facility Reservations at (310) 802-5410 or via email.
Sand Dune Reservations:
1. All patrons age 13 and older must have a reservation to use the dune.
2. Reservation times are for one hour only, per day, per patron.
On the Day of Your Reservation
1. You must submit your online reservation receipt to the dune attendant along with dune fee. Attendant does not have access to online reservations.
2. The $1 Sand Dune reservation fee is due to dune attendant. Only U.S. one-dollar bills will be accepted. No coins. Attendant does not have change.
3. You will be asked to sign in with dune attendant.
4. Please be prepared to show a valid identification card.
5. No-shows may result in account cancellation.
