Building inspections are performed Monday through Friday 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM, unless any of these days is a holiday.

Roof nail, rough plumbing, and rough electrical inspections must be inspected on separate inspection days, before the framing inspection request. If you would like more information regarding inspection procedures, please refer to our Building Inspection Procedures (PDF) on this website and also available at the public counter in the literature rack.

Inspections which are not ready or do not have the approved plans and inspection job card may be subject to a re-inspection fee. Morning and afternoon requests must be arranged directly with the inspector and is only an option, if the inspector can arrange it within their workload, and are subject to change.

Building Inspectors are generally available for phone calls and at the public counter from 8:00 AM to 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM to 5:00 PM.
