The Parking Division of Revenue Services administers the collection of parking meter revenue, parking citations, parking permits and customer service.
This division also administers the City's Taxi Cab Franchise which regulates four taxi cab companies.
The City runs twelve parking lots, including over 1,410 spaces citywide. These lot locations can be viewed using the online Parking Lot Map (PDF) or take the Public Parking Lots Interactive Tour. Beyond lots, there are over 440 City street parking meters in the Downtown and North Manhattan Beach business districts. These 1,850 parking spaces serve to regulate the flow of transitory and business traffic in the City.
Parking enforcement hours are from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM, with the exception of the beach parking lots at the Manhattan Beach Pier, which are enforced 24-hours a day.
Beach Parking Lots- $1.50/hour
City Parking Lots- $0.75/hour
Street Parking- $1.25/hour

Important Notice regarding City Parking Meters and Cash Keys:
The Cash Key, previously used as an alternative to coins, is no longer compatible with City parking meters. Those who have remaining credit balances on their Cash Keys, or who would like to obtain a full refund of the deposit paid at the time they purchased the Cash Key, may contact the City Hall Cashier located at 1400 Highland Avenue. Extended service hours for residents in the community, as well as vendors or business-owners are Monday through Thursday 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, alternate open Fridays 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The Cash Key must be physically returned to confirm the deposit paid and the amount remaining on the key. The City will process and mail a refund check.
