Be ready to swim, run, go over, under, through and between various obstacles!

 


A comprehensive swimming program is offered at Begg Pool year around. This includes youth and adult instruction, recreational swimming, lap swimming, water aerobics fitness, a youth swim team, adult swim club, and many more including special events.

Mira Costa Pool, located on the campus of Mira Costa High School, is now open for adult lap swimming on Monday and Wednesday evenings.

Directions

  • Turn North on Peck Avenue (signal intersection) off of Manhattan Beach Boulevard.  Find parking on Peck Avenue.
  • Follow the path past the Botanical Garden towards Polliwog Park and veer left to enter Begg Pool.

Aquatics Refund and Transfer Policy:

Aquatics Refund and Transfer Policy:

  1. If you are not 100% satisfied with the program after attending the first day of class, a full refund will be issued.
  2. Transfers will be issued prior to the second class meeting without a transfer fee. Transfers after the first class meeting are subject to a fee and must be approved by staff. 
  3. A Refund Request Form (PDF) may be downloaded (PDF), emailed to you, faxed or picked up at City Hall in the Parks and Recreation Department. If you would like a form emailed or faxed to you, please contact the Parks and Recreation Department at (310) 802-5448 or via email.
