The Pine Mountain Logs

Pine Mountain Logs

The Pine Mountain Logs:
Prepare yourselves, if you can, for cover songs performed with such energy and attitude, with voices so pure and performances so transcendent, that you might just find yourself, against your better judgment, dancing so hard that your legs snap off, leaving your torso flopping helplessly -- yet happily -- into a musical oblivion. Such is the power of The Pine Mountain Logs. For these are no ordinary covers. Surprises lurk around every corner. The Police's "Message in a Bottle" might unexpectedly turn into the theme from "Gilligan's Island." The chorus to David Bowie's "Fame" could transition into the chorus from Irene Cara's 80s anthem, "Fame: I'm Gonna Live Forever." Any song could end with the 70s tag "Solid Gold" -- and often does. Praised for their pitch-perfect harmonies and stunning live shows by superstars like David Crosby, who calls them "the best vocal group in the country and one of the best bands I have ever heard," and Jackson Browne, who calls them "quintessentially Californian," Venice has cultivated quite the reputation, both domestically and internationally, for their brilliant musicianship, remarkable vocal stylings, and lyrics that are intelligent and often laced with wit. The Logs' repertoire of high energy classics range from Led Zeppelin to the Jackson Five, Tom Petty, TLC, Aerosmith, Outkast, Steely Dan, Janet Jackson, Doobie Brothers, REM, and Earth Wind and Fire, all reinterpreted with that Venice touch, while clever transitions and unexpected medleys show off a wicked sense of humor.

Playing live, the band delivers an intense brand of American Rockabilly Music, pulling from their catalog of original material as well as performing vintage tracks and obscure gems from legends the likes of Elvis, Gene Vincent, Johnny Burnette, Carl Perkins, Eddie Cochran and other less-known greats. Lynette Skynyrd

Lynette Skynyrd:
Lynette Skynyrd is the world’s one and only female Lynyrd Skynyrd trybute.

Based out of Southern California, the band was founded in 2010 by bassist Laurie Es. Laurie had already built a reputation as a seasoned bass player, poster artist, a former DJ on WFMU and a promoter in the L.A and New York rock scene. A lifelong Skynyrd fan, Laurie set out to create a tribute that would truly do justice to the genre-defining Southern hard rock of the original band and the exceptional songwriting and musicianship that earned Lynyrd Skynyrd its rightful place in the pantheon of classic arena rock bands.

This group of mega-talented female musicians express the unconquered spirit of Southern Rock. Lynette captures the essence of Skynyrd, tapping into those days-gone-by, when a rock concert was the experience of a lifetime. If the past is indeed a prologue to their musical journey, then Lynette Skynyrd is nothing less than timeless. With a badass rock-chick authority, these daisy duke damsels transport the Skynyrd classics into the modern era.

Britain's Finest

Colour My World

Colour My World:
Colour My World was formed, in part, to make audiences remember the true impact that one of the best American bands had on the world of music. We are proud and privileged to be a tribute to this great band and their contribution to American music. Instead of reinterpreting Chicago's music, Colour My World's ambition is to simply capture the true essence of what so many fans remember from the original recordings, and allow them, for a time, to relive their past. “Colour My World” takes great pride in presenting an entirely "live" show, free of prerecorded tracks, tapes or enhancements of any kind. The founding members spent fourteen months searching the world for enthusiastic and talented musicians who were properly suited to the demanding endeavor which is the music of "Chicago".
