The City would like to assist our employees, residents, and local businesses with employees who smoke, by providing resources to help employees take steps towards quitting smoking.

  • There is also a Prop 99 program to provide free nicotine patches to help people quit smoking. Please see the details below.

Free Nicotine Patches for LA County Residents
There’s no better time to try to quit smoking, because right now LA County residents can get FREE nicotine patches to kick-start their quit attempt. Using nicotine patches can double your chances of successfully quitting smoking by lessening feelings of withdrawal and reducing cravings. The patch is easy to use and will help you adjust to a smoke-free lifestyle by getting off nicotine slowly.
