The health and safety of our community remains top priority. Due to COVID-19, all picnic pads, recreation and athletic facilities/basketball courts/fields and playgrounds are CLOSED. Green space in all parks, tennis/paddle ball/pickleball courts, dog runs and some batting cages have opened. Please visit the Parks and Facilities page for more information.  
 
We encourage you to check out Healthy at Home for tips on how to stay active and recreate from the comfort of your own home. There are activities and classes for all ages.

The City is closely monitoring updates about the coronavirus from a variety of sources. Information regarding the coronavirus is changing frequently. Feliz Cinco de Mayo! To celebrate Cinco de Mayo, we will be cooking Mexican food. All ingredients will be provided.

Teen Center School Year Program
The Teen Center School Year Program is a drop-in, noncustodial program, open to all 6th, 7th and 8th graders living in Manhattan Beach, attending a Manhattan Beach school or whose parents work in Manhattan Beach. The teen center provides plenty of indoor and outdoor space to play and exercise and has a variety of exciting and engaging activities available each day. Daily options may include basketball, volleyball, rock climbing wall, ping pong, pool, foosball, Xbox Kinect and Nintendo Wii, movies and much more! The Teen Center also offers homework help! Resident fee includes fall, winter and spring vacation program. Nonresidents must register separately for each vacation program.

Teen Center Vacation Program
The Teen Center Vacation Program is a drop-in, noncustodial program, open to all 6th, 7th and 8th graders living in Manhattan Beach, attending a Manhattan Beach school or whose parents work in Manhattan Beach. This program is only active during Manhattan Beach School District breaks and the Teen Center School Year Program is closed when the Teen Center Vacation Program is active. The cost of the fall, winter and spring vacation programs are included in the school year program for Manhattan Beach residents. Nonresidents must register for each vacation program separately and each have a different cost.
