We will also be serving up birthday cake to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the United States Air Force!
The first 500 veterans and active duty military will receive a free Salute to the Troops Challenge Coin!
Remember to pack a picnic, blanket, and beach chair!
The band is composed of citizen-airmen whose civilian occupations range from professional musicians and music educators to computer programmers, accountants, engineers, and law enforcement officers.
Under the command of Major Vu Nguyen, band members meet two days a month to rehearse and perform. They also participate in an annual two-week summer tour. During the annual tour, the band functions as an active-duty band, rehearsing, traveling, and performing. Past tours have included performances in Alaska, Australia, British Columbia, the Dominican Republic, Hawaii, New York, Florida, and throughout the state of California.
As musical ambassador, the Air National Guard Band of the West Coast is proud to represent the State of California, the Air National Guard, and the United States Air Force.
