Dine N' Discover: Outreach for Clean Power Alliance
The City of Manhattan Beach is proud to present an informative discussion on why the city joined the Clean Power Alliance.
Learn about the City of Manhattan Beach's new energy provider: Clean Power Alliance, which offers the shared benefits of local management and control, stable and competitive rates, and higher renewable energy content. On December 19, 2017, the City of Manhattan Beach voted to join he Clean Power Alliance, and starting in February 2019, Clean Power Alliance will allow the community to receive their power from clean sources. What does that mean for you as a resident? Find out during this Dine N' Discover as speakers from the City will be on hand to answer questions from residents about the program. For more information, please visit the Clean Power Alliance webpage.
About the Clean Power Alliance
Clean Power Alliance is a public agency made up of 31 local governments across Los Angeles and Ventura counties - including the City of Manhattan Beach - working together to bring clean, renewable power choices to our communities. Clean Power Alliance purchases clean power and Southern California Edison (SCE) delivers it -- nothing else changes. SCE will continue to send just one bill and be responsible for resolving any issues with electricity service.
