UPDATE June 12, 2020 - REC Summer Camp Opening Monday, June 15, 2020
Summer is here! Campers will enjoy the benefits of outdoor activities, sports, and participate in hands-on arts and crafts projects while making new friends and lifelong memories. Each week will feature a new theme and creative projects designed to keep campers engaged and having fun this summer! REC Summer Camp will feature new protocols and practices including social distancing to ensure the health of campers. Please bring a healthy bag lunch, a snack, a refillable water bottle, and sunscreen. Campers are encouraged to wear sunscreen, appropriate clothing and comfortable footwear as the majority of activities will be outdoor. Each week will consist of three-week long sessions to minimize contact and campers will be split into two groups of 10 maximum and that will be their group for the entire session. The first week(s) of camp will be at Manhattan Heights Park only.

Race a pumpkin down Manhattan Beach Boulevard and take part in the spectacle of the Manhattan Beach Pier area transformed into Pumpkin Race Land, where creativity runs wild and cheaters never prosper.

Race a pumpkin down Manhattan Beach Boulevard and take part in the spectacle of the Manhattan Beach Pier area transformed into Pumpkin Race Land, where creativity runs wild and cheaters never prosper. Enjoy fun activities for all ages, make your own pumpkin racer and feel the thrill for what promises to be the most fun and unusual Halloween event your family has ever experienced! Don’t forget to show off your costume and bring your Halloween spirit! Races begin at 1:00 PM sharp.
The 29th Annual World Famous Pumpkin Race Festival is a FREE event and will be held on Sunday, October 27, 2019 at the Manhattan Pier beginning at 12:00 PM.
The day long Downtown Halloween Festival and Pumpkin Race will be filled with fun, excitement, surprises and laughter for all ages.

By signing up for a Turbo Pass, you'll have access to the Pumpkin Race Turbo Pass line! Check-in before your allotted time slot to grab your pass, then race your pumpkin between the times listed below. Get your Turbo Pass online starting Saturday, October 5, 2019. Please keep in mind, your Pumpkin Race Turbo Pass will become invalid after the time you signed up for has passed.
