Senior Civil Engineer (At-Will), Job No. 18-037

The City of Manhattan Beach is now accepting applications for Senior Civil Engineer (At-Will).  We are looking for a highly qualified candidates for our Engineering division. Under general supervision, the Senior Civil Engineer plans, coordinates, and participates in the completion of varied professional engineering projects within the Engineering Division and performs other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited four year college or university with a major in Civil Engineering or a closely related field is required.

Training: Three (3) years of responsible professional experience in Civil Engineering or a related field is required.  Public Sector experience is highly desirable.

License & Certificate: Must obtain a valid Certificate of Registration as a Professional Civil Engineer from the State of California within three (3) years of employment. Ability to attain a valid Class "C" California driver's license and have an acceptable driving record.

HOURS: The Senior Civil Engineer position is on a 4/10 work schedule.
