Street Sweeping Reimbursements
In 2013, the City stopped charging for street sweeping services, and began a reimbursement program to refund fees paid paid for this service. After six years, the refund program end on October 15, 2019.
Resident who have previously applied for reimbursement do not need to apply again. The City has ensured that all applications received to date have been issued a full reimbursement. Residents who did not have an active utility account from 2004-2014 or who live in the Manhattan Village or other areas in which no street sweeping fees were charged are not eligible for reimbursement.
