The City of Manhattan Beach is seeking community-spirited people to fill vacancies on the City’s Boards and Commissions.

THE FOLLOWING COMMISSIONS WILL HAVE VACANCIES:

Board of Building Appeals
5 Members-At-Large (Qualified by Experience & Training)

Cultural Arts Commission
1 Art Experience
1 Member-At-Large
1 Student Representative*

Library Commission
1 Member-At-Large
1 Student Representative*

Parks and Recreation Commission
1 Member-At-Large
1 MBUSD Nominee
1 Student Representative*

Parking and Public Improvements Commission
1 Business Community
2 Members-At-Large

Planning Commission
2 Members-At-Large

To be considered for one of these Board or Commission seats you must be a resident of Manhattan Beach and a registered voter, unless you are applying for the Student Representative seat.

Please electronically submit your application by Wednesday, April 15, 2020 through our website.

Board & Commissions Interviews will take place on Tuesday, April 28, 2020. Time TBD.

The City Council will consider all applications and appoint members to the Board & Commissions at the Tuesday, May 5, 2020 City Council Meeting.
