Finance administration is responsible for maintaining fiscal policy, financial reporting, budget creation, and accounting. The Finance Department goal is to provide timely, accurate and relevant budgetary and financial information to our citizens and customers, establish strong internal controls in line with City policies, and assure compliance with established accounting standards. We pride ourselves on making current and historical financial information available and accessible.
FY 2020-21 Budget
As part of the City's Budget process for the upcoming Fiscal Year (FY 2020-21), the City has issued an online Budget Priorities Survey to gain a better understanding of the areas that the community would like the City to invest in as a factor to direct budget decisions. Members of the community have until February 4th to participate in the online survey.
In addition, the City will be holding a Budget Priorities Open House on January 28, 2020, at 6:00 PM at the Joslyn Community Center, where community members will have the opportunity to learn more about the budget process and share their budget priorities for the future.
The following budget meetings are tentatively scheduled to be held in City Council Chambers at 6:00 PM, unless otherwise noted:
