 StART Project

StART Projects is a collaborative program between Manhattan Beach Unified School District (MBUSD) and The City of Manhattan Beach Parks and Recreation Department’s Cultural Arts Division.

StART Projects are designed for students to develop technical, conceptual strategies towards the development of a studio practice. This inter-disciplinary program encourages experimentation and collaboration with peers. StART will cover writing artist statements, biographies, curriculum vitas/resumes, and professional presentation standards. Critiques and individual meetings expand students' knowledge while concentrating on their studio practice. Students meet every Friday at the Manhattan Beach Art Center from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
