The Manhattan Beach Parks and Recreation Department is here to help you stay active, grounded and Healthy at Home through engaging informational, educational, and instructional activities for all ages. We have partnered with class instructors, local youth sport organizations and local businesses to help you stay healthy and positive while the schools, beaches, parks and the strand are closed! Be sure to check back as we will be updating and replacing content regularly. Your health is important to us, so try to enjoy this time with your family and remember to wash your hands, wear a mask and sanitize often and please don’t forget to laugh and smile.

Zoom Classes

  • June 1st and 8th at 3:00 PM. The REC Program will be offering the final two Zoom sessions for the school year. Click on the Zoom tab below to see the supply list.

  • Pre-Registration Required. Tuesdays, June 2, 2020 to July 28, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Zoom link and password will be sent by email to all participants before the first class.

  • Pre-Registration Required. Thursdays, June 4, 2020 to June 25, 2020 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM. Zoom link and password will be sent by email to all participants before the first class.

  • Wednesdays from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM

  • Join the Ceramic Studio staff every Thursday Night from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM as they lead you through a series of independent classes, each focusing on a different skill.

  • Join Eric each Tuesday night fro 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM for this multi-week instruction on the methodology of china painting.
